What is Online Bill Pay?

Online Bill Pay is FirstEnergy Solutions Corp.'s Electronic Bill presentment and Payment Program ("EBPP Service"), which allows FirstEnergy Solutions dual billed customers to view and pay their statement on a secure, personalized website.

What are the benefits?

There are a number of benefits to using Online Bill Pay:

Save time - Process your payments conveniently online

Schedule payments - Paying bills electronically enhances your ability to control your payments, allowing you to better manage your cash flow and avoid late fees; set up Auto Draft via ACH from your bank account, and your bank will take care of the rest

Readily available statements - Receive your billing statement online the next day and view and print your statement history

What are the bill payment options?

When you enroll into Online Bill Pay, you can schedule a one-time payment using a credit or debit card or via ACH from your bank account. Credit/debit card transactions are subject to a processing fee of $35 per $1,000 payment amount. Or, you may schedule up to 12 months of payments via ACH from your bank account.

What information do I need to enroll?

In order to enroll, you must be a FirstEnergy Solutions dual billed customer. You will only need your FirstEnergy Solutions account number and your zip code to enroll.

What payment methods does the Online Bill Pay website accept?

Our Online Bill Pay website will accept payments via ACH from your bank account or charge your credit or debit card one time (MasterCard or VISA); credit/debit card transactions are subject to a processing fee of $35 per $1,000 payment amount.

How long will my invoices remain available on Online Bill Pay?

Invoices will remain available online for 12 months.

What if I have multiple accounts with FirstEnergy Solutions?

For your convenience, Online Bill Pay allows you to link multiple FirstEnergy Solutions accounts to your username. You will only need the account number and your zip code to set this up.

When is cutoff for payment?

Payments made after 2:00 p.m. EST will be dated the following business day. Payments made on a bank holiday will be dated the first business day following the holiday.

What if I forget my password?

You have the option to click Forgot Password. Once you’ve entered your username and answered the security question, a temporary password will be emailed to you.

You have the option to click Forgot Username. Once you’ve provided your account number and zip code, your username will be emailed to you.

How current is my account information?

The account information is from your latest posted statement.

How quickly will my statement be paid?

The payment will be processed the same business day as long as the payment is made before 2:00 p.m. EST. Otherwise, it will be processed on the following business day.

Is the LevelOne bill payment site secure?

The LevelOne online system collects customer payment data via a secure (HTTPS) web page that uses 128 bit encryption. The LevelOne online system is fully certified as PCI compliant. Any customer payment and billing data is encrypted, and only the last four digits of customer account numbers are displayed to the customer and the Customer Service representative (as needed).

Will I stop receiving paper statements?

Once you enroll a FirstEnergy Solutions account in Online Bill Pay, you will no longer receive a paper copy of your billing statement. However, you will be able to view and/or print your statements online.

What if I need to cancel a scheduled payment?

If you have arranged in advance to make recurring payments from your bank account, you can cancel a scheduled payment up to the day before that payment is processed.

What are the computer system requirements to use the service?

In order to receive this information electronically, and to access and retain any disclosures you receive, you will need a personal computer or electronic device with a minimum web browser that supports 128 bit encryption and the ability to receive and read email. The website also requires Internet Explorer v5 or later, Firefox v2 or later, Google Chrome V4 or later, or Apple Safari V4 or later. Cookies and Java Script must be enabled.

Why can’t I log back in after I’ve logged off of Online Bill Pay?

As a security measure for Online Bill Pay, the page closes automatically after logoff. In order to log back in, you’ll have to re-enter the website.

Can I still make payments without using Online Bill Pay?

Yes, you can still make payments by mail. But you must enroll in Online Bill Pay in order to make a payment online.

Can I pay amounts other than my outstanding balance?

Yes, you can process payments for amounts other than your statement balance. However, failure to pay the outstanding amount will result in a Late Payment Charge.

Will my funding sources be available across all linked accounts?

Yes, you will have the ability to set up an Online Bill Pay funding source and use it for all of your accounts.

What does tagging of accounts mean?

Tagging allows you to assign a name to a single account or a group of accounts, giving you the ability to organize multiple accounts on your profile.

Can more than one username access a single account?

Yes, more than one username may access a single FirstEnergy Solutions account simply by registering a different username for that account. Please note that you will only be able to view your own funding source(s) - but not any other user’s funding source(s).
