FirstEnergy Solutions is not regulated by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, or the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. The electric utility customers do not have to buy a product or service from FirstEnergy Solutions in order to continue to receive services from the regulated electric utilities.
